Pure, the movie, premiered this week as part of the FNC (Festival du Nouveau Cinema) festivities. The event took place in the Just for Laughs Museum complexe. The film is about Misha (Laura Jordan) trying to find her way through the city, and some of her clubber pals helping out. Pure stars Laura Jordan, Gianpaolo Venuta, Karen Simpson, Robert Crooks, and Tim Rozon.
If anybody wants to let us know if the movie is any good….cause we havent actully seen it.

If the film itself sucks at least the music won’t:
Featuring soundtrack artists Ian Pooley, LSG, Mistress Barbara, Max Graham,Chromeo, Nuclear Ramjet and Suns of Arqua.
Can’t go wrong with that lineup.

This dude Ben Shemie did this thing where he took an 18 piece STRING ORCHESTRA and layered it on top of electronic BEATS. He calls it Blink BlinkBlink. The result was weird. You judge it.

These two genius women, pictured to the left, who are also the designers for their own amazing line of jewellery, pictured in the image gallery, called Peekaboo Wilcox, have brought together a truly unique venture. Marche Mtl plays host to a cornucopia of local talent that changes every week, so every time we go shop there there’s probably gonna be new stuff by different designers. Sound too good to be true? But wait there’s more; EVERYTHING is AWSOME!!! and it’s unlikely you’ll find this stuff anywhere else….
Go check them out this Friday and Saturday.

Ritual Designs.com: Custom Corsetry and Future Fashions blew me away with their newest collection. A wonderfull combination of vibrant colours, textures and cuts. Bang on.
The show was pretty neat too featuring sounds by NWAR and bling by Lydia Lukidis. An all MTL show!

Adam & Eve is a pretty new boutique in Montreal. Located on st.Laurent between st.Viateur and Fairmount. They’ve got some cool clothes that won’t be found in every other dump around town.
